1. The “Golden Range” (20% – 80%)
Modern Lithium-ion batteries are happiest when they aren’t at extreme charge levels.

Avoid the Zero: Never let your battery drop to 0%. Frequent deep discharges can permanently damage the cells.

The 80% Sweet Spot: If you’re at your desk all day, try to keep your charge capped at 80%. Many laptops have a “Battery Health” or “Conservation Mode” in their settings to automate this.
